Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Thursday after a recovery in international bullion markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 1,000 to reach Rs. 492,362 in the local market.

The price of 10 grams of gold also went up by Rs. 858, settling at Rs. 422,121.

A day earlier, gold had declined by Rs. 1,100, closing at Rs. 491,362 per tola.

In the international market, gold prices rose by $10 per ounce to $4,700, reflecting renewed buying momentum in global trading.

Meanwhile, silver prices also increased locally, gaining Rs. 65 to settle at Rs. 9,204 per tola.
