iPhone users in Pakistan can now access Jazz 5G services on supported devices, following the latest network compatibility updates. Users with compatible iPhones running the latest iOS version can experience 5G connectivity within Jazz’s active coverage areas as the operator continues its phased rollout across major cities.
Jazz has already deployed around 180 pilot 5G sites in key urban centers, with further expansion planned as part of its gradual nationwide rollout strategy. The company says network growth will continue in line with device readiness, ecosystem development, and rising demand for high-speed data services.
At the same time, Zong has also enabled 5G support for compatible smartphones in its covered areas, further accelerating early-stage 5G availability in Pakistan’s telecom market.
The development aligns with Jazz’s broader transition toward a digital ServiceCo model, where connectivity underpins a wider ecosystem of services including fintech, entertainment, gaming, cloud solutions, enterprise services, healthtech, insurtech, and digital self-care platforms.
Khalid Shehzad, Chief Technology Officer at JazzWorld, said the move reflects the gradual maturation of Pakistan’s digital ecosystem and the readiness of networks and devices for next-generation connectivity. He added that the company remains focused on delivering reliable, future-ready services to enhance user experience nationwide.
Following the recent spectrum auction, Jazz has strengthened its holdings across multiple bands, including 700 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2600 MHz, and 3500 MHz, aimed at improving both coverage and network capacity for 4G and 5G services.
To access 5G, Jazz customers using compatible Apple devices need to update to the latest iOS version and enable 5G settings while being within a covered area. The operator is also expanding support for additional 5G-enabled smartphones, including select Samsung Galaxy models and other devices, as the ecosystem continues to grow.
