Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to revisit Pakistan as part of his ongoing diplomatic tour, which also includes stops in Oman and Russia, according to Iran’s Foreign Ministry.

Officials said a section of his delegation has already returned to Tehran after recent discussions in Islamabad to consult on matters linked to post-conflict diplomacy. The rest of the team is expected to join Araghchi again in Islamabad on Sunday night.

Before traveling to Oman, Araghchi held detailed political talks in Islamabad. During his brief stay, he met Pakistan’s top civil and military leadership, including Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The discussions covered bilateral ties as well as broader regional developments, with both sides exchanging perspectives on issues of mutual concern.

In a statement shared on X, Araghchi confirmed his travel schedule, noting visits to Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow as part of efforts to strengthen coordination with important regional partners. He emphasized that relations with neighboring countries remain a key priority in Iran’s foreign policy.

The diplomatic engagements come amid continued regional efforts to ease tensions and promote stability through dialogue among involved parties.
