Tax authorities, backed by government enforcement agencies, have conducted coordinated operations against two of Lahore’s major real estate developers, Al Kabir Town and Al Noor Orchard, officials confirmed to RBN.

The raids, led by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and supervised by the Chief Tax Office (CTO) Lahore, involved five joint teams that seized financial records and documents for detailed examination.

The action aims to review tax compliance, payment records, and financial transactions of the developers.

Al Kabir Town, located on Raiwind Road, has faced past controversies including allegations of selling plots beyond Lahore Development Authority (LDA) approvals and delays in delivering possession to buyers, prompting past inquiries by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Similarly, Al Noor Orchard, marketed as an LDA-approved project by Al-Jalil Developers, has been the subject of hundreds of investor complaints over delayed deliveries, high development charges, and disputed approvals. Officials say the raids are part of a broader effort to strengthen tax enforcement and recover outstanding dues from large-scale developers in the city.
