Gold prices in Pakistan staged a strong recovery on Friday, tracking a renewed upward trend in international bullion markets after the previous session’s sharp decline.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of one tola of gold rose by Rs. 3,400, reaching Rs. 490,362. Meanwhile, the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs. 2,915 to settle at Rs. 420,406.
The rebound comes a day after gold prices dropped significantly, with one tola falling to Rs. 486,962 following a single-day loss of Rs. 7,100.
Internationally, gold prices also strengthened, climbing by $34 to $4,676 per ounce, including a premium of $20, which helped support domestic market sentiment.
Silver prices moved higher as well, gaining Rs. 160 to close at Rs. 7,794 per tola, reflecting broader recovery across precious metals markets.
