The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MOITT) has extended the proposal submission deadline for Pakistan’s flagship National Unified Super App, moving it from March 31 to April 10, 2026. The extension comes after the initial call for proposals fell short of expected participation.
The Super App, part of the World Bank-supported Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP), aims to centralize government services on a single platform. Citizens will be able to renew licenses, file taxes, apply for permits, and access a wide range of public services through both mobile and web interfaces, available in multiple languages.
Secure authentication will integrate Pakistan’s National Digital Identity system (NADRA), while features like personalized dashboards and single sign-on will streamline citizen interactions with the government. The platform’s microservices-based architecture will allow scalability, integration with third-party solutions, and automated workflows, boosting government efficiency, reducing costs, and improving revenue collection.
With the extended timeline, the Ministry is giving firms more time to craft innovative, robust, and secure proposals, ensuring the platform can meet the ambitious goal of transforming Pakistan’s digital service landscape.
