Foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) recorded a weekly increase of $13 million, marking a 0.1 percent rise for the week ending March 13, 2026.
According to the SBP’s latest weekly report released on Thursday, Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves climbed by $106 million to reach $21.704 billion, compared to $21.598 billion in the previous week.
The central bank’s own reserves rose slightly to $16.354 billion, up from $16.341 billion a week earlier.
Meanwhile, commercial banks also reported an increase in their net foreign reserves, which stood at $5.351 billion—reflecting a weekly gain of $93 million.
