Gold prices in Pakistan remained stable on Wednesday, following a sudden halt in international markets.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of gold per tola stayed at Rs. 523,762. Similarly, 10-gram gold was traded at Rs. 449,041. On Tuesday, gold per tola had risen by Rs. 1,000 to reach the same level.

Traders had previously cautioned that gold could surge further if market volatility in the Middle East continued.

International gold prices also remained steady at $5,010 per ounce, with a minor premium of $20. Meanwhile, silver rates dropped by Rs. 75, settling at Rs. 8,494 per tola.
