The price of 24 karat gold experienced a notable increase of Rs. 1,335 per tola, reaching Rs. 356,000 on Thursday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association. This rise marks a shift from the previous trading day, where gold was sold at Rs. 354,665.
In addition, the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs. 1,144, bringing it to Rs. 305,212, up from Rs. 304,068. Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold increased by Rs. 1,048, now priced at Rs. 279,787 compared to Rs. 278,739.
The silver market also saw price hikes, with per tola silver increasing by Rs. 86 to Rs. 3,850, while the price for 10 grams rose by Rs. 73 to Rs. 3,300.
On the international front, gold prices climbed by $13, reaching $3,343, up from $3,330. Silver prices also saw an uptick, increasing by $0.86 to $36.66, as reported by the Association.
