The Government of Pakistan has announced revised petroleum prices for the fortnight beginning June 1, 2025, following recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and relevant ministries.
According to a press release issued by the Finance Division on Friday, the price of petrol (MS) will increase by Rs. 1 per litre, rising from Rs. 252.63 to Rs. 253.63 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) will remain unchanged at Rs. 254.64 per litre.
The new prices will take effect from June 1, 2025.
The government reviews petroleum prices every fortnight, adjusting them in line with international market trends and domestic considerations. This latest adjustment comes as part of the regular review process.
