Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory on Tuesday, with the price of 24 karat gold rising by Rs. 6,100 per tola to reach Rs. 356,100, up from Rs. 350,000 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
This latest increase follows a Rs. 7,800 per tola jump recorded yesterday, bringing the total two-day surge to Rs. 13,900 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also climbed by Rs. 5,232, reaching Rs. 305,300 from Rs. 300,068. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22 karat gold rose by Rs. 4,796 to Rs. 279,868 from Rs. 275,072.
Silver prices saw similar gains, with per tola rates increasing by Rs. 57 to Rs. 3,482 and ten-gram silver rising by Rs. 22 to Rs. 2,985.
On the international market, gold prices jumped by $61 to $3,377 per ounce, while silver rose by $0.57 to $33.00 per ounce, the Association reported.
