The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) on Wednesday dismissed recent reports claiming the approval of the financial bid by the TERG Consortium for the outsourcing of Islamabad International Airport, calling them “unauthentic and misleading.”
In an official statement, a PAA spokesperson clarified that the matter is still undergoing due process and no decision has been made or approved at this stage.
The spokesperson emphasized that any official announcement regarding the outsourcing process will be made in due course. “We urge the media to refrain from such misreporting, as it may harm critical national matters,” the statement read.
The PAA also requested all stakeholders to await an official statement, which will be issued at the appropriate time, to avoid any confusion or misinformation.
