GlobalTech Corporation (GTC), the parent company of Worldcall Telecom Limited (PSX: WTL), has announced the launch of a state-of-the-art Center of Excellence (CoE) for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data services at WTL’s premises in Pakistan. The initiative marks a significant step in WTL’s technological transformation and positions the company as a key player in the AI and Big Data space.
The CoE will focus on product activation for AI and Big Data services across the region, while also providing back-office support for GTC’s global technology offerings. The newly constructed facilities were inaugurated by Worldcall Chairman Mehdi Al Abduwani, signifying a major milestone in WTL’s growth and innovation journey.
The establishment of the CoE aligns with GTC’s commitment to driving WTL’s growth and technology leadership. Pakistan’s recent recognition as the “Tech Destination 2024” at GITEX Global further underscores the country’s potential as a hub for technological innovation. The CoE is expected to enhance WTL’s ability to market its products and services globally.
WTL plans to leverage the CoE to launch its own AI and Big Data products while also offering product development services to clients. One of the key projects completed under this initiative is CADNZ, an AI-enabled digital lending platform, which is set to launch in the USA and Middle East markets.
In addition to product development, WTL will provide back-office support to GTC’s global product sales teams, further strengthening its role in GTC’s international operations.
