The retail price of cement in Pakistan has been reduced by up to Rs. 20 per bag due to weaker demand during the winter season, according to a report by JS Global.

Cement manufacturers in the North region have lowered prices by Rs. 20 per bag, bringing the maximum retail price (MRP) in the region to approximately Rs. 1,350 per bag. This reduction follows a trend of softening cement prices over the past 2-3 weeks as demand continues to decline during the colder months.

Industry experts anticipate that demand and subsequently prices will recover as the weather normalizes in the coming months, leading to increased construction activity.
