The National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced revised toll tax rates for national highways and motorways, effective from January 5, 2025. The new rates will apply to various routes across the country, including major motorways such as M-1, M-3, M-4, and M-5.
Revised Toll Rates for Motorways
- Islamabad–Peshawar Motorway (M-1):
The toll tax for cars has been increased from Rs. 460 to Rs. 500. For 12-seater vans, the toll is now Rs. 750, while coasters or mini-buses with 13 to 24 seats will pay Rs. 1,000. Buses will be charged Rs. 1,450, 2- and 3-axle trucks Rs. 1,900, and articulated trucks Rs. 2,300. - Lahore–Abdul Hakeem Motorway (M-3):
Cars will now pay Rs. 700, up from Rs. 650. Vans with 12 seats will pay Rs. 1,100, coasters or mini-buses with 13 to 24 seats Rs. 1,600, and buses Rs. 2,200. Trucks with 2 or 3 axles will pay Rs. 2,900, while articulated trucks will be charged Rs. 3,500. - Pindi Bhattian–Faisalabad–Multan Motorway (M-4):
The toll for cars has been increased to Rs. 950 from Rs. 850. Vans with 12 seats will pay Rs. 1,400, coasters or mini-buses Rs. 2,100, and buses Rs. 2,900. Trucks with 2 or 3 axles will pay Rs. 3,800, and articulated trucks Rs. 4,600. - Multan–Sukkur Motorway (M-5):
Cars will now pay Rs. 1,100, up from Rs. 1,050. Vans with 12 seats will pay Rs. 1,650, coasters or mini-buses Rs. 2,350, and buses Rs. 3,350. Trucks with 2 or 3 axles will pay Rs. 4,400, while articulated trucks will be charged Rs. 5,500. - Dera Ismail Khan–Hakla Motorway (M-14):
Cars will be charged Rs. 600, vans with 12 seats Rs. 1,050, coasters or mini-buses Rs. 1,400, and buses Rs. 2,100. Trucks with 2 or 3 axles will pay Rs. 2,700, and articulated trucks Rs. 3,250. - Hassan Abdal–Havelian–Mansehra Expressway (E-35):
Cars will pay Rs. 250, vans with 12 seats Rs. 400, coasters or mini-buses Rs. 550, and buses Rs. 800. Trucks with 2 or 3 axles will pay Rs. 1,050, while articulated trucks will be charged Rs. 1,250.
Toll Rates for National Highways
- General Rates:
Cars will be charged Rs. 60, vans Rs. 100, and buses Rs. 200. Trucks with 2 or 3 axles will pay Rs. 250, while articulated trucks will be charged Rs. 500. - Specific Locations:
- Kohat Tunnel: Cars will pay Rs. 150, vans Rs. 450, buses Rs. 550, trucks with 2 or 3 axles Rs. 550, and articulated trucks Rs. 800.
- Islamabad–Murree Dual Carriageway: Cars and vans will pay Rs. 150, buses Rs. 300, trucks with 3 axles Rs. 350, and articulated trucks Rs. 700.
- Mianwali and Khansar Toll Plazas: Cars will pay Rs. 60, vans Rs. 100, buses Rs. 200, trucks with 2 or 3 axles Rs. 250, and articulated trucks Rs. 500.
- Fatehpur and Chowk Sarwar Toll Plazas: Cars will pay Rs. 20, vans Rs. 30, buses Rs. 60, trucks with 2 or 3 axles Rs. 70, and articulated trucks Rs. 150.
