The Mobile Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) in Pakistan reached Rs. 302 per month during the April-June 2024 quarter, according to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s (PTA) Annual Report for 2024. This marks a significant increase compared to the fiscal year 2023-24, where the ARPU rose to Rs. 276 per month, up from Rs. 229 in the preceding year.

Jazz and Ufone emerged as top performers among the telecom operators, achieving notable ARPU growth during the fiscal year 2023-24. Jazz’s ARPU surged to Rs. 327, a sharp rise from Rs. 254 in the previous year, while Ufone’s ARPU climbed to Rs. 280, up from Rs. 233. Telenor and Zong also recorded growth, increasing their ARPU to Rs. 214 and Rs. 258, respectively.

The April-June 2024 period saw even higher ARPU figures for Jazz and Ufone, with Jazz surpassing Rs. 369 per month and Ufone reaching Rs. 304 during the quarter.

The PTA report highlights the growing importance of data revenue, which now accounts for 65% of the total revenue in Pakistan’s mobile industry.
