The federal government has announced a slight increase in the prices of petroleum products, effective December 1. According to the latest notification, the price of Diesel has been raised by Rs. 3.29 per liter, bringing it to Rs. 258.43.

Similarly, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 3.72 per liter, reaching Rs. 252.10.

The adjustment comes amid fluctuating global oil prices and economic considerations.

During the last fortnightly review, the government had kept petroleum prices unchanged, with petrol priced at Rs. 248.38 per liter and high-speed diesel at Rs. 255.14 per liter.
