Gold prices in Pakistan fell for the second straight session on Tuesday, mirroring a decrease in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 4,100, settling at Rs274,300, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs. 3,515, bringing it to Rs235,168. This follows a previous decline on Monday, when the gold price per tola fell by Rs. 4,300.
Internationally, gold prices also saw a decrease on Tuesday. The APGJSA reported that the rate stood at $2,631 per ounce, including a $20 premium, after losing $41 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable, with rates holding steady at Rs3,400 per tola.
