A recent survey by Ipsos has ranked Pakistan as the most caring country in the world, highlighting its strong adherence to traditional social roles, faith, and family values. Pakistan scored 30 points above the average for Islamic nations, with around 80 percent of Pakistanis prioritizing the needs of others over their own.
The survey also revealed that Pakistanis place a high value on personal success markers such as possessions and career status, surpassing China in the importance placed on material accomplishments. Faith is considered integral by all respondents in Pakistan, ranking the country fourth highest in religious adherence globally.
Despite these traditional views, 82 percent of Pakistanis see women primarily as mothers and wives, placing Pakistan first in traditional gender roles alongside countries like Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. The survey also found that nearly eight in ten Pakistanis view raising children as a societal duty, ranking the country among the top in this regard.
In terms of societal outlook, only one-third of Pakistanis anticipate a societal breakdown within their lifetime, in contrast to two-thirds of Indians who expect such an outcome.
