In a notable shift from the recent record-breaking rally, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a major decline on Wednesday. According to the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs. 3,000 per tola, bringing it down to Rs. 271,700. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 2,572, settling at Rs. 232,939.
The Association also reported a decrease in the price of 22-carat gold, which dropped to Rs. 213,527 per 10 grams from the previous Rs. 215,885.
This decline follows an all-time high reached on September 26, 2024, when gold prices soared to Rs. 277,000 per tola, driven by a surge in international market prices.
Meanwhile, the prices of silver remained stable, with per tola and 10-gram rates holding steady at Rs. 3,050 and Rs. 2,614.88, respectively
